I have recently rediscovered Luke 1:37. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” Those words were first spoken to a teenager, twelve years old perhaps, as words of courage. Mary was just approached by the angel Gabriel with a stupendous message. She was the virgin Isaiah the prophet spoke of 700 years earlier. She was going to conceive a child from the Holy Spirit and bear a son and call him Jesus. Jesus is God with us, God with us who would save His people from their sins. And Gabriel left Mary with a note of courage – “For nothing, not a word, sentence or phrase would be impossible with God.” God always accomplishes His word.
I am 32 years old and in the journey of a lifetime. It is journey of enjoying God, enjoying those who enjoy God and seeking to bring all kinds of people into this joy! And I take with me on this journey a note of courage. “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
